Diddy and the fam are covering VIBE’s Aug/Sept JUICE Issue!

In the cover story titled “Table For One,” written by Editor-In-Chief, Jermaine Hall, Hip-Hop’s most affluent playboy shares his thoughts on regrettable interviews, Lil Kim vs. Nicki Minaj, regaining respect and more.

Below are some quotes from Diddy’s Juice Q&A. He was relaxed, candid and in the best space I’ve seen him in. There’s a lot that I wasn’t able to put into the piece, but I’ll release those quotes over the duration of these Juice issues on VIBE.com. Cop the issue on newsstands August 16th.

Dr. Dre said that the last beat that floored him was “All About the Benjamins.” How does that make you feel?

It’s humbling. I was in the studio with Dre the other day. He started working on a record for me. Watching him as a producer is watching greatness. We had a lot of similar traits. It was like looking in the mirror. He would ask questions like, “How you feel about this?” People don’t really understand true producers want to know how you feel about things. We are some of the most observant people on the planet.

What happened during the Martin Bashir interview on Nightline?
There were times in the interview when I had to give him an ultimatum. The questions weren’t being handled the right way. In hindsight, when I saw him I shouldn’t had done the interview because I know the style of interview that he does . . . The whole thing about giving a Maybach to my son, that’s really like a racist question. You don’t ask White people what they buy their kids. And they buy ‘em Porsches and convertible Bentleys and it ain’t no question. It’s really a racist question and put things back in perspective with money and the way that people still look at you. And I’m not saying that consciously he’s a racist. But he probably don’t even realize that he would not ask Steve Jobs that. He would be like Steve Jobs has that money and that’s the gift his kid is supposed to get.

Are the comments from Lil’ Kim about Nicki disheartening?
When I heard her say what she said, it didn’t really affect me. I didn’t get mad at her or anything like that. I knew how she felt. I ain’t agree with it. But also I know the motivation. I know that people say, “Oh, he’s trying to get a new Lil’ Kim.”  I guess people will see in time. Yeah, Nicki’s had flavored wigs on, but besides that it ain’t even the same approach to the writing.

Alicia’s parents walked her down the aisle, on a gorgeous island between France and Italy, and Swizzy‘s oldest sonPrince Nasir Dean was also there for the festivities.  Dad rocked a custom white tux jacket with black pants and pink shirt, while his son rocked all black. The setting was very small and intimate.  Reportedly, Bono and Queen Latifahwere on their guest list.

And Alicia rocked her Vera Wang gown, which catered to her baby bump, and Louboutin shoes, along with a pretty head-dress.  The two reportedly married in a US civil ceremony before leaving for the gorgeous secluded island.

Diddy and his manties (man panties) are gracing the pages of the upcoming issue of GQ magazine.  Not sure what him literally hanging from chandeliers at the age of 40 is supposed to mean.  But some folks are calling it a midlife crisis.

On finding out his father was murdered and was one of Harlem’s leading drug dealers:
“I had looked up my father’s name, and I saw an article about my mother wearing a full length chinchilla to a funeral and taking me, and I was in a mink, and the story was of the glamour and the decadence of our family, and how he was the kingpin of Harlem, and how he had got assassinated. I understood why my mother didn’t tell me the truth because where I was living, I probably would have been one of the biggest drug dealers out there. The type of person I am, I would have wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps.”

On his mother being a big influence:
“My mother is why I am, who I am today. People can say what they want to say, but I just represent being sucker free, working hard and being positive. I don’t hate on nobody, I’m not a negative individual. I just wake up and I go for mine and I try to work the hardest I can work. I could have gone a lot of different routes, but I decided to go the route of hard work.”

On the motivation to continue after all his success:
“The motivation is to be better. There’s been room for improvement for me as a recording artist even as a producer, as a man, as a mogul. It’s not even about greed or ‘when will he stop?’ because I’m just not going to. I’m not going to stop, probably ever. It’s a love; it’s not money because the money has been achieved.

Nope–it wasn’t a coincidence that Reggie Bush andAmber Rose ended up at the same party Saturday night at the AXE Lounge in Southampton…whispering intimately in each other’s ears.

That’s because YBF spies caught Amber and Reggie looking mighty intimate AGAIN the following night at a 4th of July party in the Hamptons.  So much for Amber’s recent plea that she’s still Kanye‘s boo.  Looks like Reggie pulled the ol’ switcheroo and nabbed up Ye’s girl this time.

It was a Holiday jet setting weekend for the Carters.  They kicked it in Paris at the beginning of the weekend as Jay is traveling around performing for fans on his tour and Beyonce is there as the supportive Mrs.

And they rolled into London yesterday as Jay performed at the Barclaycard Wireless festival.  Their pal Gwyneth Paltrow came along too

I see the NFL and NBA are using these Kardashian chicks as their good luck booty these days.  Rumors spread recently that Kim Kardashian had moved on from fine ass Reggie Bush, right into the arms of another NFL baller named Miles Austin, a Dallas Cowboy from New Jersey.  And last night, the two were caught having their first public night out in NYC last night.

Kim K’s new boo Miles Austin tried his best to blend in with his friends and to hide their first public appearance in New York City. Miles had attempted to stay in the background but cameras caught the duo around the Meatpacking District after their date night with friends at STK.

And they headed back to her hotel together.  Well, Reggie Bush and Lamar Odom, Khloe K.’s hubby, both copped championship rings while bagging these Kardashian chicks.  I guess wide receiver Miles saw the pattern and wants his own ring.  Funny funny.  And 29 year old Kim clearly likes the youngins.  He’s 26.

The Carters trekked it to the Upper East Side to dine at their fave italian spot Nello’s last night.  B rocked some short shorts and a copped shihrt.  But she surely placed her bag strategically over her tummy.  Wouldn’t be surprised if it was just to keep the people talking.
