The “Ivy League” is the latest collection from French label Kitsuné for Autumn/Winter 2010. Fresh off of previewing their “Golf Club” range, we now get a good sense of Kitsune’s direction. The collegiate lifestyle is now the label’s aim with intelligent looks and styles reflecting the fashion in Universities across the globe. Cardigans, vests, suits, and more are included in the collection with colors such as yellows, reds, and blues as the standout. The aesthetic definitely works well for those looking for a label alternative to the likes of RRL or even J.Crew.

The use of dark navy blue plays an integral role in the upcoming Fall/Winter collection for Tomaoki Okaniwa’s Viridi-anne men’s line.  The theme for the Fall/Winter 2010 collection,Symbiosis, is inspired by nature and the forms of beauty and design created by its forces upon physical objects and materials. The dark palette of dark blues and grays is significant as they represent a quiet, silent, deep and strong connection to nighttime.

Marc Jacobs and Paul Helbers plays it conservative and safe with Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2010 Collection for men. The duo has presented a collection fit for any Louis Vuitton man. I personally like the construction of the blazers and some of the knits in the range. If there was a highlight in the collection, it would have to be the bags that came in various styles, patterns, and bold winter appropriate colors.
